L’OCA’s own mixologist Matt Lyon and Maker’s Mark Canadian Diplomat Micah Dew will lead a flavourful evening of sophistication and flavour exploration, while entertaining and educating you on what makes Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon incredibly unique and special.

About your instructor
Micah Dew
Mixologist, bartender, menu developer, cocktail judge, writer, and educator Micah Dew is a veteran of the food and beverage industry.
Over 26+ years of experience and passion have made him a sought-after instructor and presenter across North America with appearances on television alongside Rachel Ray, on Dragon’s Den, on Breakfast Television (BT), and acted as a consultant and stunt double in the movie Bottoms Up starring Paris Hilton and Jason Mews.
Micah continues to share his love of spirits and cocktails through his favourite role to date: Maker’s Mark Diplomat for Western Canada.
In this role, he travels preaching the gospel of Bourbon and how Maker’s Mark has come to be one of the most iconic brands.

Once I arrive at L'OCA Quality Market, how do I find L’OCA Labs?
Enter through the South Entrance: Proceed straight towards the back of the building. L'OCA Labs is located just to the right of PYRO Pizzeria & Rotisserie.
Enter through the West Entrance: Proceed straight, past the green automobile in the produce department, turn left and continue towards the back of the building. L'OCA Labs is located just to the right of PYRO Pizzeria & Rotisserie.
